2 large white onions finely sliced
2 tsp turmeric
2tsp baking powder
1/2 cup plain flour
crushed onion, fennel, cumin and nigela seeds (about 1/2 tsp of each)
Chilli flakes (1 to 2 tsp)
Vegetable oil for frying
